Iphone 4 8gb unlocked no service help plz - GSM-Forum

Hi,
I got iphone 4 8gb I bought it from friend it shows sim status unlock when I checked it with some imei checking website but when I put the sim show no signal tried it with different sim cards but nothing work if it's sim unlock it suppose to work.

If your phone is unlocked try to restore it or erase your iPhone in settings and try to activate it again

And I'm not sure since I bought from someone but when I check online sim status with Apple imei check website and some other imei checking website shows the phone is unlocked then it suppose to work?

how to restore ???manualy select ipsw by click restore down shift key or without down shift key???

Hold shift key while click on restore and select ipsw

no need to select ipsw if your phone is already unlocked. put it in dfu mode and restore is the best way for unlocked phones.

Great! Also had the same problem, I just restored it or erased iPhone in settings and try to activate it again,
