the time and date were good.
the only thing is them were in automatic, i have changed to manual but still i have the same problem.

if your device ios is 6.0 and later then you need to connect device with iTunes after remove battery ( some times its works with set time & date) ,if you already sync once device then also unable to call or call ended, just check setting>phone>show my caller id should be on. but be sure that your sim is detect by device,i mean searching without sim.

hi
how i i have told, i changed the screen, well, in a first moment, the phone not recognice the sim.
then i plug the phone to the computer and with itunes i solve that problem.
after that the phone recognice the sim, i input the sim code and i have signal with 3g logo.
when i try to make a call, i have calling error or ended call.
following your answers y look the time and date and they were in automatic, i change to manual and i have the time and date good.
i try calling and i have the same error, calling error or ended call.
then i go to settings/phone and i can see in my number i have unknown, the i write my number but still i have calling error o call ended.
what can i do now?

another thing about this iphone:
i go to settings/phone/show caller id and it is off, i change to on and try calling but the same problem, calling error or call ended.
i back to caller id and is in off again, i don't know if this is normal everytime i enter in caller id.

i saw i ur post tht u already checked the time to manual, but check whether year is also correct... me too had encountrd such problmes but date was wrong, when v remove the battery the year goes to 1970,
dont know this will help or not but just telling my experiance, thnx

the phone is from a friend but he forgot to tell me it was found by another friend.

1st - just leave it for 15 minutes

2nd - on off couple of times

if not work - 3rd - full backup with itunes then restore (full erase)

this is conman problem after disconcerting battery from terminal !!!!!

only way is connect via usb to itunes to sync date and time, and if need restart phone after that if call is frozen before, tested on more than 500pcd after lcd replace ,always works......
