iphone 4s error (-1) in itunes - GSM-Forum

I have this iphone 4s.....

Customer give me to repair (always in restore mode) but any try to restore to last firmware 6.1.3 produce error -1...

tried dfu mode but always -1 error.

if phone was in working condition before upgrade.....how is possible now hardware error (-1) only with firmware upgrade?

u can try to remove the battery first for 1 hour and then put it back again and reprogram it, once reprograming is in the last stage(connecting or contacting apple server) hover your computer to any web site in order for your internet connection not to hang up so that itunes will continue to connect to the server, just try it and post result..

redsnow start jailbreak operation only if phone is in normal working condition!!!!!!

This is a baseband chip error, only way to fix is to replace BB chip

I had a similar problem of yours last 2 months ago. My customer iphone 4s verizon. It was working fine when he gave to me but it keeps on searching.... thinking it was just a software related i did a full flash to 6.1.3 and at the of flashing i got error -1

and tried the second flashing again but still the same problem. Then i decide to open it and found out out is liquid damage from the bottom side ( including charging port ) so what I did first is replace the charging port flex and flash it again . After that I didn't get any more error! Hope it help u
