iPhone *Abnormal* Boot Loop Issue - GSM-Forum

Hello all,

Having the strangest issue with some iPhone 3g/3gs, when the phone is booting up it gets to the apple logo with spinning disc and hangs, (it has never been jailbroken) while this issue is happening I can plug it into iTunes it behaves as a normal phone allowing me to sync/restore/update etc while still showing apple logo with spinning disc on the screen.

Most times when I remove the camera it boots into the OS ok, sometimes not though, I also replaced the dock connector and had success with the camera in at the same time. After rebuilding it up though it went back to square one.

Anyone any suggestions? Ive changed camera, dock connector and battery and all with intermittent success.

Any Help Appreciated

Did u try changin the proximity/earpiece cable mate, they can be a real bastard at times, let me know if this helps!
