Member: 961957 Status: Offline Sonork: Jabber: [email protected] Thanks Meter: 641 | yep, just go to iPod, iPhone and iPad Firmware Download download 4.01 update for 3GS and hold shift in itunes whilst clicking restore then select the ipsw... make sure you are going through official apple server, not sauriks (check host file) otherwise this problem is simply indicative of large volume of device restores (most likely from comex advice about jailbreaking on stock fw) so keep trying it will be fine in a short while |

Apple are blocking ip adresses of ip's that are being used "extensively" for restoring Iphones. I wouldn't say it a "steaming heap", just an observation & a bit of research done when we encountered the very same problem. After using an ip blocker tool everything works 100%. Still don't believe me? Speak to revive or ra and they will tell you the same.... WBR yeldar  | |
