Ihave iphone 4 gsm model so i copy the folder to c:\\ and all is ok but the problem is redsnow stop to ''waiting for reboot'' and the iphone open to normal mode how to fix it ???

it seems that you are a newbie, ! 8 hours ? when in fact max time is 20minutes ?
and what you mean dead ? this tools is safe can not brick the device...

Also,can"t find com.apple.springboard.plist in mnt1/System/Library/Preferences/
No preference folder.
Instead found in
/mnt2/mobile/Library/Preferences
But even set to 0 still iphone disabled try after xx minutes.

As for phone seems OK
iTunes download iPhone3,1_7.1.2_11D257_Restore ipsw file for it so is iPhone 3,1

Any ideea what is wrong?

Deleted com.apple.springboard.plist
No more disabled and wait time.
Tested again same code result 1990 but don't work

Just registered to say that it works and my passcode was successfully recovered. It took a few attempts but then it done it stuff.
Happy now the phone is running again.
