It's absolutely great, because you don't really need to perform any kind of restore on the already ios 5.1.1 tethered jailbroken device only so to change it into a suitable — iOS 5.1.1 untethered jailbreak. More better is that you can download and install Rocky Racoon from Cydia, and install it exactly like you would any other package to carry out an untethered jailbreak meant for iOS 5.1.1. Further on, we detail the few brief steps associated to convert the existing jailbroken device running iOS 5.1.1 towards an untethered jailbreak. Proceed as following: Note Your device ought to be jailbroken using RedSn0w meant for iOS 5.1.1 to carry out a tethered jailbreak first. To do the actual tethered jailbreak, check out iOS 5.1.1 jailbreak tutorial for RedSn0w. Whether you're not already jailbroken with the means of RedSn0w, then you should carry out our Absinthe 2.0 tutorial. How to convert tethered to untethered iOS 5.1.1 jailbreak Step 1: Run Cydia. Step 2: Now search for Rocky Racoon 5.1.1 Untether and install. Step 3: Reboot your 5.1.1 untethered supported device http://unlockboot.com/2012/05/ipod-3...rted-with.html and confirm that you can reboot your device without getting to perform a tethered boot. You could at all times restore the device, and perform a good jailbreak using Absinthe 2.0, but there's really no need to do this while you can just take advantage of Rocky Racoon that will convert your jailbreak up to untethered! A5 device ownwers (iPad 2, iPhone 4S, iPad 3) will not able to take usage of this initially, because clearly there was no tethered jailbreak meant for iOS 5.1.1 at the start. A4 users (iPhone 3, iPhone 4S) and iPhone 3GSusers should take advantage for Rocky Racoon without any issues. Be sure that you don't uninstall Rocky Racoon 5.1.1 Untether, because all devices rely upon this package not to lose the jailbreak. Hit the Sharing buttons below and Contact us if the Rocky Racoon 5.1.1 untethered jailbreak worked successfully on your behalf in the comments section below. br: unlockboot |
