clone mini iphone AO7 (Hong Kong) - INVALID SIM

Hey guys!!

Newbie here. (UK)

Just purchased the clone "mini iphone - AO7" from Hong Kong from ebay.

I have a contract Vodafone sim and when I enter it into dual slot 2, it says "INVALID SIM", however all the sim details i.e contacts, messages etc can be seen on the phone. I just cant make/receive calls or same with text messaging.

I have tried various other sims, orange, old vodafone payg and o2 payg sims... and they are all the same.

Can anyone please help me....

how do i go about changing the IMEI number? and what am I changing it to? There are two IMEI numbers on this phone as it is dual sim, but neither of the dual sim slots work with my contract sim.

I have done the x#06# - There are two IMEI numbers, the first which is also printed on the inside of the phone has underneath it - IMEISV: ** (*= numbers).

What I am changing the IMEI number to?

any takers, please help! desperate to get this new phone up and running with my contract sim, instead of using my pay and go sim.
