I'm glad you enjoyed "my" files. Unlike some people, all the files that I post, I tested them on my phone (AudioVox Smt 5600) before I post them up.

Where did I find all this software.... Hmmm, just say that I visit IRC from time to time.

Aren't all those GPS programs for the Pocket PC? I mean, I have GPSdash 2.1c and GPS Tuner 4.2, but, they're both Pocket PC versions. I doubt there is any for the smartphone. Most smartphones don't have the GPS functionality (excluding Nextel phones), hence, the lack of GPS software.

The closest thing I have and can find for the smartphone are map apps like Mapopolis, Microsoft Pocket Streets, etc. I think I already posted those types of programs already.

Hi CG2! Really thanks for your reply! About the GPS applications: I have a Motorola MPx220 together with a BlueTooth GPS module, which works really great! I use TomTom Mobile 5 for navigation, which really works perfect on the road. However, I also would like to do 'geo-caching' and 'waypoint/track-navigation' as you can do with GPS modules as a Garmin etc. With this I can for example follow a mountainbike-route that has been fixed by other GPS users. This is done a lot here in The Netherlands (see http://www.gpstracks.nl).

The applications I mentioned in my previous post should be able to mimic the functionalities of a Garmin, and are also available for Smartphone. Some already a long time, some just started with the Smartphone versions... Applications as GPSdash / TinyGPS / GPStuner / SmartGPS would do the trick for me... So if you can find / have any (or all...) of these smartphone versions of the above applications... you really would do me a big favor. I know where to find the official (trail) versions, but I am not able to crack them myself....

It brings path finding capabilities to your Smartphone! Given a destination set of co-ordinates, SmartGPS will direct you straight there, showing your current heading, the heading required to reach your destination, and the distance remaining as you travel.
