Unlock SPV C500 How? confuse - GSM-Forum

Hello,

Just because of too many software for c500 unlocking found after searching then i confused.
I just want to know if what software to unlock for this version below:

Typhoon
IPL 1.00

Typhoon
SPL 2. 05. 0130

---------------disable it Certificate security first--------------

(use motorola testcard to enter in locked phone)

upload regeditSTG.zip(extract zip on phone) with activesych or regeditSTG.exe on memory card

lauch regeditSTG.exe

GO TO HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
SECURITY
POLICIES
AGAIN POLICIES

press value

THEN EDIT VALUES 00001001 TO 1
THEN EDIT VALUES 00001005 TO 40

now you have
DISABLE Certificate security
-----------------------------------------------------------
you could install Cert.cab throw activesync

after run SPVServices.exe
follow instructions

Enjoy!!
ps:no need to reboot the mobile

After i follow procedure many times above i always got error during installing CERT.CAB

Here`s the error (( Installation failed. The program or setting cannot be installed because it is not digitally signed with a trusted
certificate ))

My problem is, i can`t install CRT.CAB even value was already edited.
Any suggestion for this and much appreciated TIA...

make hard reset ur device and try to do process again.

if u can't install cert then u must concentrate on following para

This will only unlock your applications not the sim. Doesn't unlock the sim. I've tried a hundred different ways and various roms and this method only unlocks applications. Nobody knows how to unlock the sim for an orange spv c600. I asked everywhere on the net and nobody knows bugger all.
