Hi dude I was in the same position as you and I got mine to work. Here is how to do it:
1) Open the end part of your USB cable (part that goes into phone) use a tiny flat screwdriver.
2) You will see a set of pins some have wires but most do not. You are concerned with the set that do not have wires and are in the middle part L ::[:]:::: R (when phone is plugged in), its not 100% precise but the pins that initiate the reset is pins 4(top row) and 3(bottom row) when viewing from the left with phone plugged in.
3)All you have to do is jump the two pins with a metal object when trying to enter the boot loader mode. You may need an extra pair of hands to assist you.

Best of luck
Syed
