How do I get rid of "Files" ?

I installed the Files application from MyCentro and now everytime I try to launch it I get an error and my Centro soft resets. I can't delete the files from ZLauncher or FileZ because it says they are protected. I log on to MyCentro and try to redownload the app but it resets my system. Any ideas?

I'm having the same exact problem... I know I can find another file manager, but I'd just like to get rid of this thing.

Cool

Do a warm reset and then uninstall it....

warm reset:
  1. Press and hold the UPbutton on the front panel of your device...
  2. While holding the UP button, remove the battery from your device..
  3. Still holding the UP button, put back the battery into your device....
  4. Until you see the dial pad screen appear, then you release the UP button....

A Word Of Caution

Doing that step of the warm reboot. If you press up, you lose everything on your centro. It's like you are starting over. So save/backup anything you want.

A 'warm' reset is like booting your computer in safe mode. It doesn't delete applications. A hard reset (aka factory reset) deletes everything on your device. So you'd really only need to backup your data before a hard reset, not a warm or soft... But it's probably still a good idea to back it up anyway.
