use shortcut5

Description:
ShortCut5 is a PalmOS 5.x preference panel which supports large (up to 4096 characters in size) shortcut definitions.

The system shortcuts only supports small (about 45 characters in size) shortcut definitions. ShortCut5 shortcuts are in addition to the system shortcuts.
Limitations. Maximum of fifty shortcuts definitions. Each shortcut name is from one to four characters in length. Shortcut names are case sensitive and cannot contain the period "." character. ShortCut5 is only supported on PalmOS 5.x and on locales that use single byte characters.
ShortCut5 will not recursively expand shortcut definitions.
Instructions. To expand a shortcut, enter a period "." character followed immediately by the shortcut name. Do not change fields or change the insertion point within the same field while entering the shortcut name.
App list. This is used to select a list of apps to either enable or disable (based upon the activation options in the Preferences).
Activation options in the Preferences. This is used to selectively disable and enable this preference panel. (1) Enable all apps. ShortCut5 is always enabled. (2) Disable all apps. ShortCut5 is always disabled. (3) Disable for app list. ShortCut5 is enabled for all apps except for those in the app list. (4) Enable for app list. ShortCut5 is disabled for all apps except for those in the app list.
Optimal performance. For best performance, use the app list and activation options to disable ShortCut5 when executing games or other event intensive (graphics) applications. Notes. The shortcut will expand at a moderate speed (as to not overflow the key queue).

Could try safe mode, but not sure that will work. I'm awaiting a response from tech support, but that may not happen.

I use to use PdaNet for my 650 and all worked fine, so that's why i've been trying to get that for the 700.

If ANYONE can crack June Fabrics PdaNet 4.02 i'd GREATLY appreciate it.
Here it is just use any serial

Maybe Italiangspot will tell us if he is getting it to work.

Are you using a Treo? If so try this (you may already have, but since I don't use Opera, I can't try it myself):

1) Menu button then "K" will bring up a virtual keyboard in most applications.

2) For the underscore symbol, use the dash symbol (Option S), then push the Alt key. A list of characters will pop up...underscore should be one of them. You can do this with almost every letter to get differrent variations of the letter.

Sorry if this is old news, just throwing it out there as an option.

My first gripe with Opera was this issue about 2wks ago, because the very first website I was going to go to had an underscore in it.

I can confirm that even the new, new updated Opera still has this problem.

You cannot bring up a virtual keyboard. And you can't use the Option-S-Alt method either. That's because anytime you type Alt in Opera it types a "?". No idea why, it just has to be a bug.

Man, I'm so happy! Thanks big time, I've been trying to get this for 2 weeks!!!

I tested and it work wonderfully! No need for all that USBConnect and tether-mode hacking crap, or of course Sprint's $40/mo plan!

Now all I need is the new Telenav for the Treo.

Thanks.
It appears to be difficult to crack. On top of this the program really doesn't recognize much of anything correctly. Have you tried the demo?? Personally I didn't think it was worth cracking.

It worked perfectly for me. What part of the world are you from? Maybe it doesn't understand some accents?
