Thanks for the codes and the links! Both worked! I think I was using a newer version of the game or something. All better now though. Thanks again!

HotSync Notifier File Question

So I had been trying to make BackupBuddy work for me and it was a no go... no worries, fine, whatever... I uninstalled it it seemed to uninstall cleanly and no remnants remain that I can find, but and now I am getting the following HotSync Manager Message in a dialogue box everytime I start-up HotSync Manager:

---------------------------
HotSync Manager
---------------------------
The Notifier file 'C:\PROGRA~1\BACKUP~1\BackupBuddy.dll' was not found.
Notifers are used by HotSync Manager to inform other applications about synchronizations sessions.
Please check your configuration to correct this problem.

HotSync Manager is skipping over this file.
---------------------------

Anyone have any idea how I can stop this...

Many thanks guys...

And how can the icon on the apps home page be selected by using the 5 nav key. Can't select individual programs. Thanks. Can't highlight icons? Help please.
I got an answer to one of your questions - What is auto launch unique application?

When the TreoLaincher is running you can type in the firdt few letters of the application you want for example "is" and then you will see applications beginning with the alphabets "is" only and if in my case you have only iSilo, it automatically gets launched.

Also to navigate you press the side keys and then press the centre button to select.

I hope I have been able to help you some bit.

Hi.
4 questions to you please.
What have you used to overclock the Tre 650? To what level have you done so? Are there any particlar applications oyu have overclocked and left others same or underclocked? Has overclocking affected the battery performance markedly?
Grateful if you could share your experience.
Thanks

i think battery life on centro is slightly better than tero 680 due to smaller screen although somehow its lower in capacity , 1150 mAh vs. 1200 mAh

Best bet would be that your computer's registry wasn't changed when you uninstalled the software. So the .dll is still showing in your registry, hotsync is looking for it but the actual file is no longer in the folder where the registry says it is. If this is the case, the only way to clear it is to remove it from the registry which if done wrong can really screw up your computer if you don't know what your doing...

If you know how to make changes safely within the registry or are willing to take the chance, let me know & I can point you to where in the registry the entry most likely is.
