Zlauncher is the best, but I stopped using it because the new version of TakePhone (Takephone 7.60_020) replaces the home launcher with an I-bar style launcher.......It's Beautiful......

I just learned about GooSync. Awesome. This software will synchronize your Palm OS Calendar with Google Calendar. It free to use, you can download at http://www.goosync.com/, it works very well. For those that have tried to sync the Outlook with Chapura, and Google Calendar, you may know the sync just hangs.

Yes there is. In reality what you lost was the save preference file. This happens because it becomes corrupted and the palmos tries to fix it with a default one which of course loses all your codes. One app that monitors this is Reset Doctor (in my experence don't use the cache clean, just the save preference backup, crash log, and if you know what you are doing the lock preference feature thats stops some palm bugs BUT ONLY IF YOU KNOW WHAT IT DOES).

Another way, is to have a backup app (nvbackup and i have backups in two cycles, 2 days, sometimes it may take long before you discover you had lost your codes) and when this happens just look for "save preference" file and the "unsaved preference" and just restore theses files.

I use both, none are perfect (just remember if you use both and what to use nvbackup disable reset doctor). You always have the file from your comp if you use hotsync.

Can encrypt your backup so just you can look at it if its stolen and you use the special sms code with butler (or blue pill) to wipe the phone (not the card) clean. Oh and its free

King don't get me worng, does RescoBackup have any special features? I think I tested it one time, at the time I think it did a backup with the screen light off, nvbackup doesn't turn off screen.

But are you using styletap? All prc normally are executables on the PalmOS and pdb are databases or files that store stuff. if you have two prc maybe its best to install both. But if you are getting that error on your WM its because you may not have styletap installed so it can run prcs which are normally palm executable apps

You are talking about the old version of RescoBackup.......The New version is much better........ Recently a poll was done on which is the best backup app and RescoBackup beat the rest by far, including nvbackup........that's all I have to say

Its hard to see u online nway does iBar support all those function? i just upgrade mine..!

Is there some sort of app out there that lets you view books? For example, I have a relative thats in college and doesnt want to spring big bucks for a book. Any way to get that on the palm?

......I just like the look of the I-bar of takephone, but I don't think it has all the functions of Zlauncher....Plus Zlauncher takes up too much space on my ram......But as I said before, Zlauncher is still the best...
