Palm Treo 680 (Centro?) Unlock and so on...

Kinda new to this, so forgive me I guess...

Just recently bought a used Treo 680 from a thrift store for $40 bucks since the battery was dead, already solved that issue though.

I wanted to see if I could Unlock it or whatever is needed to use it with Cricket. The phone itself doesn't have any carrier brands on it, and neither does the box, so I don't even think its locked to a specific carrier right now.

As far as my research told me, I need some sort of custom built cable and to download some software to get it to work? I've got plenty of experience with electronics and soldering, so even if it's difficult I can do it.

Really, I just need a good shove in the right direction. Anyone willing to help me out on this?

:/ Sorry, I don't usually bump but a reply would be nice.

Also, looking at it, if it's not locked, how do I do the NAM programming to put in my Cricket settings to get it to work with my carrier? I already found out how I could get the Web to work on it once I have it working, but I can't seem to find anywhere that tells me where to manually enter the MDN and pESN and stuff, and I'd need that done first before I can try getting anything else to work of course.

NVM

I'm obviously not as smart as I thought I was.
Should've notice that it's a GSM phone, so completely useless for Cricket...
Anyway, unless someone knows how to get it to work regardless, which from what I understand is impossible, goodbye.
