i have a plam pre, asking to activate the gmail account. i don't know how to activate ?

cant you make a google account on computer then enter into fone ? or is it that the wifi option is not activated?

or cant you put a sim into the handset with data service

wifi option is not activated , and i try may sim all ask about creating profile or putting exciting profile !
maybe there is easy by pass solution ? !

My fone also Network Lock .... Not Work here data service sim .... Many Htc fone bypass becuse n dat fone v cn activate Wifi etc .. But n palm cant v activate Wifi etc??

Anyone hve solution

The activation-bypass tool is a Java application.
To use the tool, you need to have installed Java and the latest webOS SDK (which includes Palm's Novacom driver).

Download the activation-bypass tool, which is available here, and save it in the location of your choice.

Boot your device into recovery mode. Phones Off, Hold volume Up and connect to Usb.

Run the activation-bypass tool from the command line by issuing the following command: java -jar devicetool.jar

Enjoy

I have one phone too. Why dont you upload the procedure? it will be useful so many people.

1. Uninstall any existing SDK or PDK installations

Uninstall the previous SDK (if present) using the Windows Add/Remove Program control panel.
Uninstall the previous PDK (if present) by running c:\Program Files\Palm\PDK\uninstallpdk.exe.
- When prompted, make sure you also un-install the Novacom driver.

2. Install Java

Download and install the latest version of Java™.
To verify that Java is installed, go to the Command Prompt and type:
java -versionIf Java is installed, Java version information appears.
Download Java

3. Install VirtualBox 3.2.6

The Palm emulator is built on VirtualBox™, virtual machine software that you can download free from Oracle®. VirtualBox is required before installing the Palm webOS SDK.
Download Virtualbox

4. Install the Palm webOS SDK for Windows

Download the Windows SDK.
Ensure VirtualBox is not running before starting the Palm SDK Installer.
Double-click the Palm SDK Installer file.

Download SDK
Windows 64-bit

Windows Vista & Windows 7 only

Download SDK
Windows 32-bit
