9700 invalid sim after unlock - GSM-Forum

i have 9700 blackberry operator bell .read code with furious gold and phone accepte the code.but after thar phone also says invalid sim card. when i see lock option one optio (service provider active) how to solve.

try mep3 and mep4 code

There is another service provider code lock on the new security and F G doesnt read that
u may have to buy a code online for the mep4 code

Where can buy a code for the Mep4 code? if have mep4 code how can use that code?

in fact furious send all codes, here is what i get reading phone

Searching for usb device ...
Reading info ...
IMEI: 980042002XXXXXX
Calculating ...

MEP: MEP-27501-003
MEP2 CODE: 92253005
MEP3 CODE: 65323222
MEP4 CODE: 62676563

How to enter codes in BlackBerry
1. Insert any sim card
2. Turn off all of the wireless connections
3. Go to Options
4. Select Advanced Options
5. Select SIM Card
6. Hit menu select show keyboard (where needed)
7. Type MEPPD or MEPD (you will not be able to see the typed info)
8. Enter MEP2 or MEPP2
9. Now it will say enter network mep code

Done !
Time needed - 00:00:26

you just need to type "mep4" (MEP then alt 4)
and the enter code, and phone got unlocked

tested by me

u need to reboot your device after inputting the code

Try manually yourself than make topic

Remember: after Put unlock code then must reboot .

It's mean u need. MEP4 too

This the list MEP

MEP1 : sim
MEP2 : network
MEP3 : network subset
MEP4 : service provider
MEP5 : corporate
