i have a blackberry 8700v , i need solution to repair it show me error 507 after trying to reset password

i too have the same problem.....
customer tried to put password but at last came to this position!!! ERROR 507
PLZ HELP ME WITH A SOLUTION!!!!

HI....

I FOUND THIS THROUGH ONE OF THE FORUMS

No reason to look; error 507 means that the operating system on the handheld is missing.

1) Download the latest version of the handheld os from your carrier's web site
2) Execute the downloaded file
3) Locate and delete VENDOR.XML from your PC's C: drive
4) Connect the BB and start Desktop Manager

It should reload now.

Will be very glad if you could tell me the steps to update bb os. i have one with "Device error: 365 reset"

error 507 can be done by upgrading OS of the phone...use search button for the BB files link.

when i try o install the software the software tell me to upgrade.and when i try to upload at the finish he tell :unable to reconnect to the device during a multi-stage load operation.what i have to do ....hellp me!!!!!!
