bold 9000 dead - GSM-Forum

hi,
got a blackberry bold 9000 which displays battery on screen with a blue line across it. i hae tried to restore with desktop manager and with mfi and apps loader but having no luck it stops with error message please try reconeecting the device......please help

have had this problem before with BB 8830 problem was the battery not being able to charge

my solution was to use a modified USB cable to manually charge battery (most people buy new battery) once it got properly polarize and multimeter showed suitable voltage battery works fine. I see customer regularly no probs

have left battery to charge for 24hours still not powering on. i have also tried a battery from another bold which is full and still getting same symbols on phone?
