i unlocked my storm 2 with the mep2 code that i kindly got from you guys, BUT, im having some issues when using my cellphone over GSM,

it only detects 2G networks, and no 3G network, and when it registers over the 2G network, the phone goes into roaming, and i get EDGE but cant get data transfer, voice has no troubles.

when checking over advncd optins > sim card and tying MEPD, it shows all the options as DISABLED but the NETWORK sais INACTIVE, before using the code i got from here it said ACTIVE, the i used the code and went into INACTIVE, i only tried the code 1 time and got CODE ACCEPTED, te counter had (10 tries left), so im 100% sure i didn't screw-up when unblocking.

please help me!!!

hi all,

i have an 8520 that had software problems, wiped handset using JLcommander
and reloaded using no jvm option via application loader.

anyway handset seemed to go through loading but it hangs at 3qtrs theway along the boot sequence, tried pulling the battery over night and reboot again but no luck.

Any ideas peeps

If your bb is already unlocked,and working will, it doesn't matter the MEP4

Does anybody can help me???
I unlocked my bb 9530, with the mep2 of some of the guys here gave me. I can call and received calls, but in the LCD it shows it requieres activation, is there something I can do???
Please give me a reply.

thats sounds sticky becaused if you chane the mic it should work perfectly

question??? the mic u placed in it, was it a working mic??????????

anyways if its still now working you have two options

1. to get an ear phone with the mic on it

2. get a new or different circuit board....

note::: wen it speaks of a particular flash file (eg) rogers, at&t, it dosent matter cuz it cant change what is in the phone already

your phone is perfectly ok.... the error u sees is becaused the phone was on a data plan before you recieved so its the plan its searching for when it ask for activation.....

solution.... try and flash it, i have never tried it before so i cant be positive it will work but its worth a try

Hi,

i have a blackberry 8110 that failed during software update, it was working fine before that.

jl commander wont allow to wipe as it wont connect, neither will javaloader -usb wipe.

the handset is detected using apploader and handset pin is showing against usb

it selects the software and trys to install but will not get past the device connecting stage.

i have tried with ands without battery and wait for device installisting to install battery.

Can anyone solve this for me please ?

I have a Blackberry 8520 and whenever I make a call the other person seems to complain about my voice not reaching them ... I mean the mic volume is tooooo low and hardly heard at the other end.

Please advise...thanks in advance
