Dont think you can unlock as those phones are on the CDMA network. Unlocking works for GSM phones.

What are you trying to do? You don't "unlock" CDMA phones like you do GSM.

You could flash it to another carrier, but you cannot unlock it.

lol ... unlock CDMA phone and that too 8330 ?? lol ... oh this is funny! Sorry to have had a laff at your expense mate, but what do you think you would accomplish after, lets say you "unlocked a cdma 8330"? ... Its ESN/MEID based device updates. Meaning the service provider has to have the esn/meid in their inventory before they would activate that on their network. Even if you flash it over you still have to ask the carrier to put it on their network. Since there is no SIM for 8330 its pointless --- even if there was any unlocking for it ..

This is very valuable in USA bro. We put CDMA phones on other carrier's network all day every day . The MSL has to be changed (Send MSL code to device to UNLOCK it) and sometimes the esn changed.

You have to unlock your CDMA phone to write to it or edit NV Items?

some models have to be unlocked by password.

Call it what you want, the bottom line is it's referred to as "flashing". You "unlock" GSM phones, and "flash" CDMA phones. Do you have to enter the SPC/MSL to write things like NAM and EVDO- yes. Is it considered "unlocking"- NO.

If he wants to unlock or find the unlock code to unlock his phone to flash it then yes it is what it is. He knows there's no sim card in the phone. Now he might be posting in the wrong place but yea...
