That's because you are using the wrong version. 9700M_PBr6.0.0_rel2534_PL6.6.0.212_A6.0.0.570_T_Mo bile_UK.exe is not the latest firmware to reset LCD.

Download this one instead and it will fix your problem.
9700-PBr6.0.0_rel3106_PL6.6.0.248_A6.0.0.723.exe

Guy's listen....there is no sense to use reset software from RIM or anywhere else. Beware that using reset software result's in erasing all customer's user data so backup all data before use.

Using reset software renders the phone in 507 error meaning it erase OS completely and need to reload OS anyway. Just simply change LCD and flash firmware from this list or higher.

i dont know lcd reset file for bb, how is work, using the lcd reset file then using any lcd's??how to flash, after flashing delate all files?? pls explain me..

if ur phone uses lets say for eg a 007 lcd and u want to reset it to work any lcd, then what u have to do is put in any other version lcd except d original version, then let phone boot up. when phone starts to boot lcd will come up all white.when this happens run soft and when soft finish just restart phone again and all should b ok

ive tested the bb 8520 and 9780 and 9700 all updates were successful about to try bb 9530 will post results.

no need to flash firmware again. small trick. after running loader/lcd reset soft; all you need to do is run loader again and wala!! just like magic phone up and running. done by me. many times.

nb. dont need to run full flash os.
