Thumbs up Newest Leaked BlackBerry Bold 9700 OS 6.0.0.358 20.11.2010

Newest Leaked BlackBerry Bold 9700 OS 6.0.0.358 20.11.2010

If you've been patiently waiting for the next BlackBerry Bold 9700 leak, today is the day. OS 6.0.0.358 is now available for download in it's unofficial form. Many users are already running the previously leaked BlackBerry 6 for their Bold 9700 so this, is hopefully a better release than that one. Be sure to back up your data folks

*OS Disclaimer - Please Read: Keep in mind this is NOT an official release and as such is not supported by RIM or your Carrier. If you choose to install, do so at your own risk and only if you're comfortable in the process of upgrading and downgrading your device software. It is quite normal during operating system development for certain features to be crippled or disabled while others are tested, and these beta builds often reflect that. They are not always better. Depending on your BlackBerry comfort level, it may be best for you to wait for community feedback on a build before deciding to download and install for yourself or simply wait for the next official release. - do not contact your carrier or RIM for Beta OS technical support (their first course of action will be to advise you to downgrade to a supported OS). *

IMPORTANT: WHEN YOU INSTALL THIS GO TO C:\Program Files\Common Files\ResearchInMotion\AppLoader

AND DELETE THE VENDOR.XML FILE !!!!
Then run the AppLoader..
Before RUNNING MAKE SURE TO BACKUP YOUR BLACKBERRY VIA BlackBerry Desktop!!

IF YOU FOUND THIS USEFUL PLEASE SPARE 4 SECONDS TO SAY THANKS!!!

FEEL FREE TO ASK WHATEVER QUESTION YOU WANT ABOUT THIS I WILL ANSWER THE QUESTION ASAP
ENJOY!

thanks amazing post will try it for my 9700

when you install this...
1) do i need to previously delete the old os or flash the device??
2) if i don't need to uninstall previous os, is possible that i lost any configs after installing this os ?? suchs a service books, etc...

just wanted to be sure before do it, despite is a beta release..

1. The apploader does this FOR you, you dont have to do that..

2. You wont lose your configs IF YOU BACK UP THEM UP with BlackBerry Desktop Manager.

And it is not a beta, it is just leaked os. When it becomes offical will be the same

Enjoy.

get real! delete the vendor.xml on a beta? WRONG! just install!

if your on t-mobile you need to delete the tmobile theme in the java folder!

now plug in the device and load it!

VENDOR XML must be DELETED.

Maybe for your country vendors doesnt make any problems. FOR OTHERS IT DOES!

Also i do not see any reason to BE LAZY TO DELETE VENDOR.

If you are lazy to do that, you should also be lazy of living.
