Problems unlocking BB 9530 (Network Blocked) - GSM-Forum

Hi,

I just bought a BB from USA (used, lastest OS version), but I'm having problems unlocking it.

It's not the first time that I buy a BB from USA and neither the first time that I unlock a BB 9530.

The problem is that I can't write the MEP code, becouse when I write "MEP2" no window appears.

I'm not an expert, but neither a newbie, so I doubt that it's my problem.

When I enter to Advande Options -> SIM Card the Network said "BLOCKED". Also the BB don't recognize any SIM. Always says "Invalid SIM Card".

Reading about the "BLOCKED" issue in this board, I discovered that the BB has no MEP attemps. I'm right?

So, I didn't try ANY MEP code... therefore I bought a 0 MEP attemps BB.

Exists any solutions for my problem? Reset MEP attemps? Reset device?

I read about MFI Multiloader, and are saying that the new version can reset the MEP, it's that true?

Please, help me!

Put in the original sim then try again

l have turkcell bb9700 mep 0 left ,any solution ??
got any boot rom to make back mep code !!!!!!

I have a Verizon BB tour and the unlock code (my Tour has bad ESN so contact Verizon is out of question) but the network is blocked and no way for me to enter the unlock code (type MEP2 shown nothing)
Can I flash this phone to Metro PCS for releasing the network block so can unlock after flashing? I'm just thinking that this phone is blocked by Verizon but nothing to do with Metro PCS.
