I unlocked my Verizon blackberry tour 9630 and put my tmobile sim card but I cannot make or receive call. Home screeen shows Tmobile and edge. Need help...thanks!

Can you send SMS ? or mail ?

Unplug the battery from phone then insert it back turn on ur device with other simcard

Yes I can send SMS but I cannot receive call, it goes straight to the voicemail and when I place a call it says "no circuit/channel available." My tmobile account is Flex Account with no SMS, data or blackberry plans. Thanks!

You might have a bad SIM card. Take it to a store and ask them to exchange it for a new one.

Which service books are missing? Even though you changed the connection to Manual does your signal still show EDGE

The 3 ways to get service books back onto your device are via host routing table, by logging onto your carrier BIS website and resending them, or having the carrier send them directly.

Even if I changed connection to manual, it still show EDGE. Sim card is not bad 'cuz it works fine when I put it on the other phone.

i have 1 set bb 9530 storm its unlocked by code that time i unlock the sim inside is cdma now its taking cdma signal ok but no signal on gsm sim pls hlp

Just try to remove the security IT policy of the phone then your done.... Direction on how to remove security policy are posted in this forum...just use search...post result if successful or not...

There's no IT policy attached under Security Options. Thanks for trying.
