I dont know if this question has been asked before (if so please redirect), but does flashing the blackberry unlock it from whichever vendor it is locked to?

no it will not unlock,but you will need to mfi or the hari unlock to do the unlock first then you flash and all will be ok and phone will be frre of locks mep cleared.
