I am nort sure if I need to uninstall the entire application from the file manager and than start from scratch. Has any body over here done this. If the application is based solely on the card than I will not need to uninstall any thing from the phone directly,,,, correct?
It;s not tie to the MMC card ID, it's tie to your Unit ID (IMEI#). You can copy everything as is over to the new card and it will work just fine.

So basically copy every thing from the SD card on the computer and than paste every thing from the computer on the card and thats it.

I thought when we use the Keygen it ties the GXT to the card or some thing. thanx

Hi everybody! Just a short question: garmin xt 4.10.20 works on a Nokia N82 having internal GPS receiver? If not, can you please indicate what version should I try to install? If Garmin XT doesn't work what would you recommend: Route 66 or TomTom?

I saw some members in saying that TomTom doesn't work with internal GPS...

Please help.
Mihai

hi, if you change memory card with gxt then you will have to start again, have just changed mine from 512mb card to 1gb just done straight copy and version .60 kept coming up trial version or enter code, just installed version .20 got card id and made new sw.unl file as the other file is tied to map, but you can just take the memory card straight from one phone to another as i did with my bruvs phone, just put memory card with v.60 already on there and it automatically started installing and worked without the need of using the keygen or card id as my bruv had my old 512mb card.

Garmin will work on the n82 with support for the internal receiver. Any version should work.

Garmin XT Speed Camera's POI
----------------------------
This is the latest Speed Camera's for the Garmin XT
Updated 1st December 2007
Just Extract and Copy the POI.GPI to the \Garmin\POI folder on the memory card after installing Garmin XT

I guess now we have 2 opinions regarding the switch. So what you are saying is that copying GXT .40 on tjhe new card is not going to make it work, even if phone is the same. Thats actually an opposite opinion to what others had to say.

Has any body here done this??
