reinstall navcore on XXL ?

I have XXL unit, tried to factory reset:
formated INTERNAL, run Home to reinstall navcore from Home, BUT, after Home installed 'latest factory build', Home tried to reboot XXL, XXL rebooted, BUT, won't boot, just hangs with TomTom + logo on screen.

any way to reinstall or copy XXL navcore onto my unit ?
anything else I can try ?

thanks
V

been there, done that, no go

another suggestion was to run the battery down to force cold start, no go

I was ready to throw the towel in, BUT:

opened the unit, unplugged battery, and, BINGO!!!

XXL booted properly now, saying 'no map present',
hooked up to Home, map was already on PC, transferred across, back in business!!!

it has 9.061, Home is offering 9.5, I think I'll just use it the way it is

just need to find speed cams if such exists for XXL

thanks for the firmware link, and, your help
