I downloaded 'western europe' to put on my tomtom. It's to replace my old western europe map. When i put it onto my tomtom though it does not recognised the map. In the 'select map' option only my canary islands map is visable. what am i doing wrong? I delete the old europe folder and then placed the new one onto my tomtom - didnt work. So i tried adding the downloaded new western europe files into my old western europe folder to replace ones that match when copied over. Still didnt work. What am I doing wrong?!?!?

Does any one know if these new maps are also compatible with the older tomtom 5 or is there ment to be diferent versions of maps for these like previous?

EDIT: Just checked and no they are not... neither there any available at the moment.

a simple idiots guide to correctly installing the new maps woud help me find out whats going wrong maybe unless you know what i'm doing wrong.
