Kindly try to put your operator sim in an unlock phone, let it catch network and put it back on your FOMA should be ok.

Pls post results in feedback thread

Yes major update will be release this week. I should allow most of the Japanese phone to be opened...and other few reported problems will be solved

Tried 705T vodafone japan no network.normal mode and lots of patch count settings still no network.

working well in gsm mode, in 3G mode just outgoing well, incoming failure....and just used 64kb or 128 kb cards for 32kb cards sometimes crash and loosing signal. use this preset :
