Just bought Cyclonebox ... stupid question about AC.

I just bought Cyclonebox from an authorized distributor as per the *************** web page.

I received it today, however no USB cable was included. I went out and purchased a USB cable, but when I go to plug it in... it doesn't detect as a new device.

I then noticed that there's an AC jack as well. Do I have to go out and purchase that too in order for this box to work?

What cables are u using cyclone,
Compatible with UFS/JAF pinout.
U do not need a ac jack because Cyclone Box is USB powered.

I only bought Cyclone box to unlock Blackberries via IMEI and MEP.

I'm not interested in unlocking any kind of Nokia devices. I'll try plugging it again at home and try different jacks.

Right now, i'm getting a "cyclonebox.dll" error when I try to start the software. I figure this is happening though because the Cyclonebox hasn't been detected yet to install the drivers.

I'm only getting the vbat light to come on when connected to USB.

The USB cord I'm using is really long. Would that be an issue?

I wouldn't use a long cable to connect the box but an usb cable of about 80cm and good quality.

Yes, I followed the instructions.. but I get stuck on the following:

2. Connect box to PC. PC should detect new device - "Cyclone Bootloader". Simply do automatic driver installation, till installer installed them in Win32 INF already.

I'm going to get a shorter USB cable now as the one I have here is about 1 meter long. I will report back shortly to see if that fixed it.

Update: I'm now using a shorter cable. I'm still only getting the vbat light to come on.

Shouldn't the USB light come on too? Perhaps I have a defective box?
