Mt-box cables use with cyclone box!

Is it possible to use Mt-box cables with Cyclone box???
I ordered the cables in an online shop which assured me i can use it with cyclone.
Now i have read in a help file that i should always use JAF/UFS cables.

You can use MT cables, if you buy the proper adapter to convert from MT to Cyclone pinouts.
