Not worth at all, when you take in consideration; a lot of time to unlock; expensive pc just for SL3 (if you don't like gaimng); need to charge client a high price. So better wait.

Doing the calc:

1pc with 1 Radeon HD5970 the max unlock time:4d 17h

Price of the mashine: +/- 900€
Electricity: 7 € /phone (4d 17h with 650W)

If you earn 23 €/phone (30€ -7€)
you will need to unlock 39 phones to get back the price of your new PC.
To unlock 39 phones will take 6 months and 12 days. So 6 months later you will be on 0€.
But this is the max time, about average time you can read here but there are many threads with slow experience only.



If you are gamer and already having the powerpc you must choose between playing or brute forcing.

memory is for gaming not for as. I test now to low down memory from 1000Mhz to 500Mhz and there is no difference in time per one salt, so I keep memory runing at 500Mhz and I get heating 3 celsius lower

Must have good-normal PC with 2 or 4 cores CPU, 2gb of ram, mainboard with PCI-Express support and final most important -you must have only Best Video-Card.

Capacity of Video-RAM and FSB-speed is not important bro.Exactly GPU core Clock-Speed and the many number of Sream-Units are only important for this operation.
Ofcourse and number of Cores 1 or 2 in 1 VIDEO-PCB, or Number of Crossfired GPU-Pcb's in 1 PC-machine.

With ati 5870 u need about "ATI HD 5870: ~43 hours" , for best price u need 5970 wich is equivalent to 2 5870 .

Yes, i gree with you, but i dont have avery day 2-3pcs Nokia SL3 for Unlock, and price for HD 5870 is 300Euro, 5970 is very expensive for more of users -1000Euro.

With HD 5870 can make 1 SL3 phone for 8 days and 10 Hours max.

I thing this is reasonable solution for most users with low-cost buget.

3-4 SL3 Unlock per mounths for this money is good investition.
