HTI Plus USB malfunction... I tried to search for solution but issue insists 3 Attachment(s) I am receiving my HTI PLUS (MXBOX ORANGE) FULL (XTC PROG SPECIAL CABLE INCLUDED) with FREE SHIPPING by AIR MAIL today. However, I could not upgrade the firmware successfully for the HTI box, which the software asked me to do so. Now I cannot connect my box to the software as it says USB malfunction and the driver could not be installed. Here is the details when it was functional OK. MXKEY [MxKey Team HTI PLUS Flasher Interface 0], SN: C0819E6A Using device: HTI, FW ver: 00.48, SN: 0100D746 Connection status: UHCI:HUB:USB 2.00 (Full-speed) Driver: WinUSB, ver: 3.5.1.0 , NTMP ver: 6.1.7601.17514 Module ver: 1.0.0.21064(15-06-2012), Library ver: 1.0.0.14102(15-06-2012) BTW, I am using my old smart card so the dongle SN will not match the new one. I didn't activate the new smart card yet. Now neither the operating system nor the latest version of MobleEx could detect the box. However, after several times of unplug / plug operations, the software could recognize a little while. It becomes unavailable when I replug it again (malfunction appeared again). What should I do? I changed the cables, computer (win7-64 and xp-32) but there is nothing changed. |
Same problem am facing http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f550...7/#post8552328 |
Is it the circuit problem (transistor)? or the NXP chip has been dead? |
Try another usb port.. Or try another PC.. I had this problem before that failed to update, after reading a lot of solution i read something about bug in updating HTI on PC that has an AMD processor so i try on another PC with Intel Processor and fresh intall XP SP2..and Updating HTI was success.. |

However, my current situation is slightly different, all of my computers are Intel based, including Core 2 Duo T8100, E5200, and Atom Netbook. All of the computers could not recognize the device, no matter I install the MobileEx or not. Even worse, my main computer could not detect the hardware but it was OK in the very beginning I received the product. I only used it once to unlock 6120C successfully, and the unit became dead. I am pretty sure the current firmware is still 00.48 but it is not possible for me to upgrade it to 00.50 without install the correct drivers and implement the right connection with computer. When I checked with the device manager, it appears to be Unknown Device with VID=PID=0x0000. Now the device seems to work, when I plug it in my USB, the red lights keeps blinking for 10 times before the yellow light starts flashing (red led off), then only the yellow led remains on. The only problem would be the USB malfunction, and I have no idea with it. Should anyone has this issue or problem, feel free to give some suggestions. BR, |
same to me any new suggetion please... |

BTW, I used the MXKEY a lot, but there has never been a issue in the past. How can I protect it from unexpected USB malfunction in the future? BR, |
