This is the problem:

eBB5ProtocolType: OLD
ERROR: Packet Error(0xAA), code 0xC1000003

The above problem prevents users from being able to use fbus cable with hti box to run mobile-ex software, just able to use usb cable only.

However, shall give you details of my box within the next 14 hours. But note that this problem started after installing v3.5 rev1.7. Does HTI box require firmware upgrade to use versions higher than rev 1.6 or what?

hi,
you must have box FW with 00.50 version. any older version will not work.

about boot error, descriptions could be found on this thread

I also have two other friends who are users of hti boxes that had same experience when they upgraded from rev 1.6 to 1.7. So the problem of not being able to use rj45 or fbus cable with mobile-ex software via hti box interface started with version 3.5 rev 1.7. Please check it out.

Thanks for your quick reply. I used the updater of hti to uprade to this version or firmware 00.50 but after successful upgrade the problem still persisted. I upgraded two hti boxes but the problem remained.

I wonder where the editing is coming from. I copied the full log at first and omitted only the first line but the second time i ensured that i copied all as it is and added my hti box number which was not included in the log.

Now tell me what could really be the problem of the hti box not using version 3.5 rev 1.7

I had earlier updated my box to firmware version 00.50. What is the solution to this problem. Three of us have this same problem after updating to version 3.5 rev 1.7.

My question here has not been answered or does the editing of the logs you are talking about the answer why i cannot use rj45 cable with my hti box. Is it also the reason why the software is stopping at:

eBB5ProtocolType: OLD
ERROR: Packet Error(0xAA), code 0xC1000003

each time i attempt to use my box via hti interface/rj45 cable?
