i'm little confuse here.
You say you have download the N97 flash files,
But you give us file list of RM-499, which is for E63-2.

For N97:
- RM-505 (N97-1)
- RM-506 (N97-5)
- RM-507 (N97-3)
For N97 Mini:
- RM-553 (N97-6)
- RM-555 (N97-4)

But from the file list you give, here it is:
MCU = rm437_501.21.001_prd.c00 (Biggest File size)
PPM = rm449_501.21.001_prd.v211_30
CNT = rm449_501.21.001_30.211U

You only need to flash this 3 files, and the phone will be OK.
good luck

never load flashes manually, avoid MISS PLACED.
- use market drop down menu. this all can be done after you follow user 'pai_d' advice.
also you can config your product directory to else where by using config menu.
- read user shybet post for knowledge base.

thanks to both of them.

-- I have relocated the phoenix\products folder to c:\mobilex folder. Easy for meh to backup in a hurry. I'm sure nothing is wrong here. Used the settings in MX key to change location.

Ok, I'm familiar with flashing 3 files but the files come out with no extension (mcu, cnt, or ppm). If I may ask, how do you know which file is mcu/cnt/ppm. there's more than 3 files d/loaded into that folder....?????
