There are few steps to follow before being sure you have a damaged sim card reader,
damaged sim card or even a damaged box.

This is the order for this steps:

1. Drivers - be sure are correctly installed.

2. Test with card inside a reader - take card out from mxbox and put in
a reader (pkey type) and see if software will see your card.

3. Chk if your sim card reader from MXBOX do not have the pins damaged.
(here you can tell me if you have PCB V3 or PCB V4)
* There was few pcs stock from first PCB V3 what factory used against my
advice some low quality sim card readers what can have pins damaged when
you insert sim card.

Let me know if you did this and none of this true.

mobileEx 3.5 (rev1.5) works fine if I put card in pkey in one usb port and other usb the hti-box. hti works ok with this setup but if I put back the card into the hti box mobileEx cannot see card, the pins look fine and board is version 4. there is also a driver problem with card, I believe card reader electronics faulty in my hti.

I have exactly the same problem, hti only work with pkey redear in hti box card not working......but because i have all others great tools, i have only try to install HTI , i have check that is a great ****, till today, my HTY is full of DUST.....but don´t mind i like to give charaty to manoles brothers.....

PS: i have HTI garbage version 3

And one more thing HTI not working on windows xp 3, drivers always bug on control panel....why????

I'll put my HTI in the microwave about 20 minutes on maximum temperature, lets see the results ... just kiding

I installed mobileEx 3.5 (rev1.5) clean in other labtop xp-sp3 and all ok now hti and card working fine.

All is made in China, and China can make quality also, but u r too in love with Europe, see what is happening this days there.

As you can see, problems come from users who do not install correctly.

There can be problems with hardware also, even big companies have % of return.

You will never see here all users who use good to report this, you will see only who have problems to report and this is normal.

Is not my fault we have so many customers all the world, this is the reason you see more reports in this forum.

this is the easiest way to check if the problem..is in your box reader..


just open your device manager...click on smart cards..


you should see that your hti smart card is driven by WinUsb..


if not then it's just a simple driver issue that users usually faced...


and to solved this just update your smart card driver...


if yes you can see that your hti smart card driver is already driven by Win Usb..


you should contact your reseller...because your box ix covered with 6 months warranty

the easiest way, is install jaf setup 1.98.62 that's it,

that's what i did, to my "MXKEY NO SECURITY DONGLE DETECTED"

& your problem will be solved 100%...
