Sl3 competition going high. (ANSWERED)

I recently started bruteforcing with a new setup as per the advice of the experts.I now own a system with 2 5850 cards i7 processor 8gb ram running 24 hours and taking around 6 days on average to calculate one code. This morning, I accidentally came across a news where universal box was claming to calculate each code in just 5 minutes
after so much of my investment and input of energy, if the above claim is true,i would be nowhere in the competition.in the time i would take to calculate one code they would definitely calculate 100 codes.
my brain has stopped working, if somebody's still work help me with a suggestion.

First of all - MAXIMUM time needed for that system you wrote is
EXACTLY 4.5 days, not 7-8 days.
Second - you didnt need ANY i7 or i5 CPU + expensive mainboard + 8GB ram,
for those 2 x ATi 5850
Third - all you need is simple Core2Duo cpu (some cheap like E5700 + some board + 2x1Gb ram + Win7 x64)

and Fourth ... yes, they calculate codes, but not in 5 minutes,
it takes a little longer than they said in their commercial,
and they are using separated cluster of around 30-40 PC's with 2 x 5970 each

and at the end ... would you or your customers pay the price
they are asking for "5 minute log" ? i dont think so.

sure add at least 30 minutes before those 5 minutes ... and that is the shortest time needed.

in this moment of time ... NO THERE IS NOT any possibility,
only if someone robber Nokia R&D Facility, and steal ALL HARDWARE + SOFTWARE.

nothing to worry, because months will go,
until some small improvements in speed are just made,
and not to talk about original nokia algo used for SL3 ...
it's so hard story, that the time will pass, until something radical
is even discovered ....

so, enjoy your hardware, and find some short time
(at least one hour, to play some new games on that system,
it brings more satisfaction than taking money from customers)

p.s. have you solved problems with slow salt times ?
it should go no more than 45-47 seconds per salt ...

or, cheaper system, also working good :
- core2duo E5xxx/E6xx/E7xx
- mainboard supporting pci-e 2.0, with crossfire 2 x 8x, not less
- 2 x 1Gb ram ddr/ddr3 depends on board
- 2 x ATi 5850 (cheaper than one 5970, similiar power)
- 850W power supply, BRAND NAME (cooler master, corsair, etc.)

or ....

similiar system, still cheap, and ~90-95% power of 2 x 5970
- intel i5 4-cores (it-760 etc.)
- mainboard with 4 x PCI-express slots, with 4 cards each pci-e at least 8x
- 4 x ATi 5850 (65-70% price of 2 x 5970)
- 2 x 1Gb ram ddr3
- 1000-1100W power supply brand name

thats it

p.s. i dont recommend i3, because motherboards for i3,
are commonly very stupid (low-speed pci-e bus etc.)
and in general i3 cpu's are stupid, and cheap,
and when their raw power compared - ranged similiar to
older E6500/E7200 core2duo cpu's.
