Cruiser on 2 different PC's - how to handle activation code? - GSM-Forum

I would like to install Cruiser on my desktop PC as well as on my laptop. How do I have to handle the activation code in Cruiser to make it work on both machines? I already have activated Cruiser on my desktop machine.

Your activatation code activates the dongle. Once you've got an activated dongle, you can use it anywhere.

I have even flashed a phone at an Internet Cafe before, I had Cruiser installer and the flash files I needed on a USB Memory stick, the dongle and cables in my bag. They didn't notice or they didn't care

So no, if your Cruiser is working then you can use it on as many different PCs as you want, as long as you have your dongle plugged in!

Ahh, stupid me... I thought this activation code is somehow related to the PC hardware...

Activation code is used by Cruiser Team to control the dongles. Certain activation strings will give you a trial card for example, others will give you Cruiser Pro 2/4/16

The wrong string will deactivate the card (as will a repeat) so don't play with that or you'll be sad!
