Cruiser software v10 detecting cruiser 4in1 cable? - GSM-Forum

hi every1, i just bought the cruiser 4in1 cable hoping i could unlock my sharp 903sh (made in 7/2005)
Cruiser v10 detected the cable in settings, which is in COM4: fighter USB cable,
but in cruiser's main windows theres no serial port COM4 highlighted or none of the ports are select able.

in the Status bar i can see " No box connected | s/n:????

what can i do now? did i buy the wrong cable or something?
any help would be appreciated. thanks

i got the 903sh testmode for about a year now and ... .silly me

just recently i accidently POWER ON with # key... and damm... the whole 903sh flashs itself back to original vodofone firmware or somehting.. now i can only see USIM-MEP when at startup.

which you dont need any other extra dongle or cable "The Cruiser 4in1 is the Cruiser itself, and all you need is ONLY the SOFTWARE or am i not getting the right msg here?

please any1 clarify this 1 out. thanks

You need a Cruiser dongle, this is from the site:
"The USB Cable we supply DON'T comes with any SOFTWARE. You must purchase the software listed below YOURSELF to achieve the functions mentioned above."

so for Cruiser software to work u need cruiser Dongle?

The dongle is like an ID check for Cruiser software to work?

then cruiser 4in1 cable uses cruiser software to flash?

Yes, for cruiser or setool or other software mentioned on that ebay auction you need to purchase the security dongle/smartcard then you can run the software of that dongle. All that is being sold is a compatable cable set.

cable is only cable, when you want to use some software you must pay for this software (like for windows, office etc), and when you'll pay for this software, you'll get dongle, with this dongle software will start...

also this is exactly written on this ebay page, why you don't read it carefully ??

so in my case now.. whats the best solution can i get out of this cable?
i just wanted a one off flash for my sharp 903sh to unlock the jap vodafone network.
i got the cable

already, and i've noticed Total multiServer, but dont know if Total multiServer will work with my cable.

if you want to do more phones, check official site for list of resellers
