Customistaion for K750i flashed to W800i ? - GSM-Forum

Hello Community,

i have some questions because of custmisation.
I have flashed a K750i to W800i. But now i ask myself how to customise it ?
Can i use the "built in customisation" ? There is not listed any W800i customisation or CDA.
So how can i change the CDA to a W800i CDA ? At the moment i got a W800i with the CDA String of K750i. And i think thats will be a problem if i want to update it by SEUS or in service-point.

Can i change it ? How to do ?

You don't have to customize the phone because W800 raw FS files already contain valid CDA data.

So in only have to flash raw FS an then shutdown FS ?

But is it normal that no CDA is displayed in "software-info" ?

Edit: Perhaps it´s a silly question. But how can i see if a raw FS has the valid customisation data inside ?

Otherwise the phone would show "Configuration error... blabla".

So SEUS or service-point updates should work even if there is no CDA displayed ?

Very unlikely.
I believe that IMEI is also checked as part of an online update, so a perfect CDA string probably wouldn't anyway.

You have to remember, when you flash a phone to W800 it's really just a hack. You can't expect it to work on SEUS!

But it´s not the problem anyway. If there will be a new Firmware i can flash it by cruiser
