If it is so easy, why does no one have a current solution for it? Why have you not released a solution for it? Nothing is hard if you know how to do it. Problem is to get there!

Basically all current RSA bypasses have relied on holes/exploits in the loaders. With each CID increase, the holes have been closed up. DB2020 is as I understand it nearly "holeproof" So, to answer your question: F*cking difficult.

As not too many people have their hands on DB2020 phonez, with loaders and tools, it's difficult to judge how much improvements (or rather to say loop hole closures) there has been. Maybe it's time to think "outside the box" ...

Having said that, to flash RawFS of all current ARM RSA protected phones with CID > 29 it's necessary to either a) Convert to brown or b) Unlock RSA. Both of these functions require some loophole finding. The reason that the SEUS service works is because it's plugged into an offical SE EMMA service device - Cruiser being standalone doesn't have that luxury. So while I was a bit of a tool in my original post, I think the point still stands that it's going to be very difficult. But Lead's already posted the reason for no Cruiser update in a while is because he's reworking the code to support DB2020 phones, so we might all be in for a nice surprise. About difference between DB2000/DB2010 vs DB2020. It's my understanding from talking to various people that in the DB2000/DB2010 RSA security isn't used "properly", while in DB2020 it is.

Let's all hope that there will be some nice surprises for the DB2020 products with the next Cruiser version! Could we even expect it to be version 10.00 as it would be a major break-through to take care of DB2020... BTW, why is it almost always Bob and Alice that sends messages to each other?

Member: 22109 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Perhaps Lead has allready cracked the CID 49 DB2020 etc. but is now working on a new protection for cruiser. A if they were - who could blaim cruiser team for that. With the laser and Zulea waiting for a solution (since they canøt do it themselves) it would seem a smart move to me. But that's just a thought. Best regards Martin |
