Error in installing Cruiser 3.71 - GSM-Forum

I have some problems installing Cruiser v3.71. After the installation is half-way through, I got the following error message while it is installing fonts.
"Invalid File Handle 32"

In addition, I noticed that when it is extracting expxusb.dll, it took almost 4-5 minutes to extract this file during the installation.

I also got "Failed to start smart card service" error.

Note: This is a first time installation on a windows xp SP2 machine.

"Failed to start smart card service" happens when the smart card isn't attached while installing Cruiser.

Just a question: why do you install cruiser 3.71 or is it just a wrong typing? Actuall version 9.71.

Sorry, thats a typo. I am attempting to install 9.71.

The help document specifically asks you not to insert the smart card during the installation. So, do I need to start the smart card service after rebooting the machine and inserting the smart card??

you have may a infected version with virus or something semilar
try to redownload it uninstall all versions installed before and re-install your downloaded one
