Fighter 4.20 and Interceptor 4.20 released
 

Version 4.20 (28th October 2004):

- Added support for J200i and J200c.
- Added option to override phone type to T290.
- Released support for communication via original DSS-20 and DSS-25 USB cradles.
- Released T62u decustomization file.
- T62u Direct unlock removes also WAP-lock and SOC-lock.
- From now it is possible to perform multiple AVR/ARM/GDFS operations in almost any order. The only requirement is to perform minor modification to the cable (connect pins 1 and 2 of 74HC4053 to 3.3V via two 10k Ohm resistors) and to enable newly added option Using enhanced cables in the Settings window.
- Direct unlock, Relock to network, Recalc DCRCs and Unterminate buttons are not enabled for T610® R1L013 and later firmwares.
- Slightly enhanced the ability to turn off phones.
- Possible to use another smartcard reader.
- Phone shutdown functionality enhanced.
- Corrected default bandlock setting for P910a.
- Updated languagepack info.
- Modified AVR RSA flashing script.
- Fixed hint display bug when writing CDA info to the GDFS.
- Fixed ocassional bug on Control Window closing.
- Added option to generate random codes.

This function seems nice. Because in fighter option window it has setting for Default EMMA Smartcard reader ? What does that mean ? Fighter would use another card to operate the latest phones ??

yeah i suppose that is what it means, but if you have the EMMA II smartcard reader why not just use the EMMA II server?

Not really what we expected maybe we have to wait until ''December'' or how called new year :D

Will there be anything different in the final version? I have tested 4.20 beta and have found no bugs to speak of that need fixing.

Great updates, thanks guys.

Has anyone tested the DSS-20/25 support? Can you unlock and flash using it? If so, this is a really great addition, no longer do I need to worried that my poor old Fighter cable is getting very worn.
I'll test it later today when I get a chance anyway, see what happens.

The new "Authentication" tab in the settings window is very interesting. Looking forward to finding out what that's all about.

yeah, the DSS sync stations work really well with the fighter software, no problems at all although i think it may be a touch slower at booting the phone. i have flashed t610 (really slow at booting anyway), p900 and a t630.

Very cool! Now all I need is Fighter Pro and I'll be able to do heaps of phones at once! :)

Hmm,here is 30 post,all 30 is good work,thx,bla bla bla...Why not share the new experience's from 4.20?i think ain't have intellect this post's.Why not ask a question to fighter team?For new really update wait after free div LPT or fighter on the top?I'm buyed the Professinal tool from long time ago,and fighter is on the top.But now is really bad the support.Fighter why not have support ftp?Or why relased the RSA update after the free div?Why working previous to the new phones with the f*ucking 5$ common terminator? :mad: :mad: :mad:

2 please add to read custom gdf reading backuping(phonebook etc)
3 please add to pda flash reading/backuping option to fighter
4 please try to faster update for the new phones with than a div(usb,lpt)

I like to see some new updates from the Fighter team, but what we all need is K500/K700/S700/Z1010 solution more!

I remember in the past Lead said that arm reading is disabled because it's unreliable & I accepted the answer as long as they provide us arm flashes. That's what I love from fighter, reliability, not just ability. I love programmer who cares about that, not just doing quick & dirty coding.
For now, it's best for fighter team to do more important updates rather than what you said from point 1 to 3. Focus on point 4, this is already takes time and we are complaining all the time because of that. When there's no more new phone types to add and no bug fixes for current version then do point 1-3.
This is, also, my humble opinion. :)

I threw my K700 so no chance for me to test it at the present.

Yes, it was very fast here too...

After boot all options are faded (except 'detach phone')... there is nothing to do or try :(

That's what I was wondering, too fast is not a good sign at this time :(
Anyway, it's not officially declared to support these phones, so there's nothing to complain :D

For me, the most interesting from this update is Fighter can connect using DSS-20. Since I only use T28 cable after my USB Fighter cable burn, and I can't flash the ARM part using T28. Thanks a lot Lead and Fighter Team, you're superb.

I've check the GDFS for T610 still doesn't work well, after reach 100% always apear script error. anybody try this?
