How to connect LG Phones to Cruiser? - GSM-Forum

Hi

I hv been trying to connect an LG U8138 to cruiser. But when i click attach to phone it just says "powering on the phone....." and thats it.

i would be glad if someone can help me here.

Hi mate, i hope that your cable is fine, and you selecting the right type aswell, cause we using it and no problem at all ! the only thing i can sugest is just make sure battery is perfect and u using the latest update. any thing i can help with just contact me .

what cable do you have, if you dont have cruiser lg cable you can use any universal usb box based on ftdi controler only thing you have to do you have to power on phone manualy

I use my cable through USB2 as I have problems through USB1. Dunno if this will help you?

i hv the cruiser Fighter usb cable. the one with the ps2 connector at the end.
when i use the sonyericsson connector its fine.

but when i use the LG connector and click attach to phone it just says "powering on the phone.....".

and yes im using usb 2 but still no luck. i hv tried another ps2 LG 8110 connector as well but i still have the same problem. dont know whats going on :-( ?

Is it just meant to connect to the phone in the same way as sonyericssons?

i hv tried it on both Cruiser 3.70 and 3.82. i hv tried the cable on an LGU8120 aas well as LGU8138
