I found this problem today flashing with cruiser. Found out that laser already fix it here:

What about fixes for cruiser. I'll try it to making experiments with my k700i, and post the correct way for cruiser's users. But if someone already know how, please give directions. Thanks.

It's been fixed in Cruiser since 4.30 (I think it was 4.30 I might be wrong on the version)
If you encounter such a phone just reflash RawFS, all will be well.

Ok here is what I do:
1. Phone's 1st problem is when sim inserted phone freeze at Sony Ericsson Logo
2. Attach phone, Unlock RSA, Automatically detach
3. Unplug battery, Attach phone
4. Flash Main FW
5. Flash Raw FS
6. Customize FS
7. Shutdown FS, automatically detach

Thats it, when phone turn on we have to wait at configuration. Then phone freeze at language selection menu, we have to unplug the battery to shut it down. If phone turn on without sim, all keys can be pressed and phone work normally. I'll try to flash the raw fs once more. Thanks

Try converting it to brown, direct unlocking it and converting it back to red again.

That should fix it.

If you've kept the phone CID29 you don't even have to do the color conversion, just direct unlock.

Here is what I do.

3. Customize with K700_generic.cc10
4. Shutdown FS, auto detach

Problem still exist. Havent try with converting to brown, since phone is Red 29 and i flashed it using K700_CXC125821_EU1_R2AE033_Red29.ck7sw and K700_CXC125822_AsianLatin1_R2AE033_Red29.ck7fs. I kept the phone CID 29. Any other tips. I'll try to flash k700i gdfs but k700i gdfs is in flp format, how to flash this, since gdfs flashing is in mdc format?

Problems exist. Could we use signed file archive for this?

I believed we can't use v4.30 coz it will give warning expired version please using the newest version. Am i correct?

is this gdfs is compatible with cruiser? I also have this gdfs and also gdfs from the laser that fix this problem but it was meant for SEtool not cruiser.

3. Attach phone
4. Unlock locks, auto detach
