k800 could not start GDFS service - GSM-Forum

K800 is dead - ir gives a red blink (erom's burned down or so it seems), reflashes perfectly but while finalizing FS returns error "Could not start GDFS service". Can it be solved?

try to upgrade erom using e.g. UC-10 cable
for customizying use a DCU-60 cable

if you are still having this trouble, repair GDFS using UC-20 cable and CruiserSuite tools

WHAT DIFFERENCE USING CABLE UC-10,DCU-60??

FOR UPGRADE EROM CAN'T USING UC-20? WHY CABLE MUST BE UC-10

when you use UC-10 cable you can very easily upgrade EROM - just mormal boot and repair EROM. if you use DCU-60 cable, you must boot the phone as recovery cid 49 mode and repair EROM.

erom can be updated using uc-20 cable as easily as uc-10. (uc-10 is older cable and everyone has it - it is cable which has been distributed witch Cruiser ID 06/07).
