Questions about ARM phones languages - GSM-Forum

Sorry if the answers is already on the forum, but I did try to search after them, but no luck.

Why does the "new ARM" phones loose all phone languages exept english when the phone gets updated?
Sometimes writing SFA files to the phone doesn't add the languages, is it really needed to flash full FS after SW update to get danish back in the phone?
Why isn't T9 languages deleted after SW upgrade? all of them is kept.
When I download the languages from the phone I get all the languages there should be on the phone, but when it's powered on there only "Automatic" and "English" under phone language, how to make the phone "see" the *.lng files?

P.S. sorry for off topic, but Lead, is it possible to make cruiser activate charger by right clicking on the cable icon? just as a shortcut

Hello,

T9 files are in every firmware exactly the same... They don't change..

BUT: Language files changes in every firmware, so a R2AE language file won't work with the R2AL firmware. And SFA are only useful when you have the same firmware on the phone as the SFA is done for (if it didn't work, try to remove all languages before you uload SFA)..

If you have lot of K700 (for example) you can flah one wih the full FS, then read out the danish language, and load then this file (about 100KB) to another, only firmware flashed phone. You will see English / Automatic / Danish
