Steps for debranding V802SH/V800 to Z800 - GSM-Forum

Hi i will have 3 V802SH coming in this week from Japan, and i wish to know what is the steps to debrand them? i got all the files from site but i wish to becareful and know the steps for debranding them. I am going to use Z800 HONG KONG R1x what should i do first and do i unlock it first or do i flash it first, i do not see any customization file for the phone does that mean ijust need to flash the arm and raw fs and all will be fine? pls let me know. Thank you in advance.

Flash Main and FS like any other phone and V800 customization should work. Dont forget to shutdown FS.

Unlock before or afterwards with Direct Unlock or Reading codes and entering them.

Since the raw FS is already customized on this flash, there is no need to customize it or shutdown FS (the option is not even available).

Just flash the desired ARM and Raw FS, then detach phone. Done.

Note that the browser software in the Z800 with R1X019 is not as good as the V800 with R1J. xHTML barely works.

Fully decustomized though, and zoom works in still camera mode

Did your V3.20 software work good? I have problem with the software on 2 of my computers.
